Chris Levick
I started in this industry in 2016, building hydroponic fodder systems for Australian farms feeding cattle, sheep, and horses. From there the work went global: systems built across the United States, Korea, New Zealand, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Europe, with the US work focused on entrepreneurs selling fresh fodder into the high-end equestrian market. In 2022, with that knowledge behind us, we started supplying fresh fodder directly to racehorse trainers at Eagle Farm in South East Queensland, and later across a broader area.
Today I grow product for my own ventures through EnviroGraze Technologies Limited, and I remain dedicated to promoting the industry as a whole. Fodder Group exists so prospective buyers get the full picture before they commit: independent advice and honest numbers.
What I do
- Feasibility audits. Before you spend $40k–$500k on a system, I'll tell you honestly whether it'll pay back.
- Supplier selection. I'll shortlist 2–3 regional builders and help you negotiate specs, warranty, and training.
- Commissioning and early operations. I stay with you through the first 90 days because that's where most systems fail or succeed.
- Ongoing advisory. Retained engagements for commercial operators running multiple sites.
Where I've worked
Over the past 10 years I've advised on projects across Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Korea, and New Zealand.
What I don't do
- Recommend systems that are not fit for the job.
- Recommend parts or suppliers that are not the best available.
- Give you information that is not based on a decade of industry knowledge.
